Drury Motor Lodge

The rooms were spacious, much like a generous host offering up their last cookie-plenty of room for two without anyone feeling crowded! The friendly staff went above and beyond, helping with minor hiccups and making every day feel like a mini-vacation. Clean towels were a daily delight, adding to the comfort of the stay.

Wi-Fi needed improvement.

Reasonably sized unit with a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and refrigerators. Very good service and separate bedrooms. Location short walk to the pub across the road work for a work function the night before, shops, and the shopping centre. Private parking outside provided.

Booked a room with really comfortable beds. Location: the hotel was right by the Coromandel peninsula. Great to be 200 metres away from Big Tuna Fish Co, enjoyed our meal there...

The location is great since it's in a new area, and you have a shopping mall and a market close by. 🛍️.

The units are compact, comfy with the bedroom and balcony, as example.

loved our stay, would recommend this hotel. everything was great, very very nice staff, good views over garden. in the tidy room we booked there was a lovely bed and a bright bathroom. the property was in a central setting in township eccept pub. moreover, it's just off auckland airport and hamilton, and the outskirts of auckland. the irish bar was great with some excellent food.

I had a pretty decent stay here! the staff were friendly and super helpful, really making an effort to resolve any issues. Housekeeping did a good job, and there was a nice garden area to relax in. Plus, the location was perfect, with everything you could need nearby, including some local attractions and eateries. It felt convenient and comfortable, unlike some of my previous stays where I felt out of my depth.

On the flip side, there are a couple of things that could use a little refining. the soundproofing wasn't the best;

The venue was great value, and I loved the location next to the pub/restaurant, takeaways, and garden views. the beds were big, and I slept well. the staff was friendly and provided helpful advice about the city. the food offered was excellent, featuring a wide array of meals. the stay was thoroughly enjoyable.

This place offers great value with delicious food and a convenient location just down from the Bay of Islands. the staff members are all fantastic and super friendly. Plus, the Irish bar serves up some hot drinks. ☕️.

bathroom in need of updating

This hotel had great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail throughout the property. The location was perfect, with everything I needed within walking distance. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service. The rooms were clean and provided all the basic amenities I required. I appreciated the nice little extras, like the really comfortable sofa in the studio style bedroom. The breakfast options were delicious and satisfying.

All in all, everything about this hotel was pretty good.

I had a pleasant stay in a peaceful room with cozy beds and tasty food.

Excellent location, comfortable and clean rooms with spacious beds. Appreciated the fan and coolness when opening the back door. Stayed here multiple times and enjoyed it. Fridge, bed, and linen were all excellent. Good water pressure in the shower. Great outlook from the deck. Proximity to motorway and pub for dinner.
